Let’s focus on Leadership
Leadership requires more than setting direction and achieving results. Effective leaders know when to provide direction, when to coach, and when to step back and give others more autonomy.
Focus on Leadership helps leaders increase their behavioural flexibility. They learn to adapt their leadership approach to what individual employees, teams, and situations need in order to succeed. Developing others is central to the program: when does someone need clear expectations and direction, and when do they benefit more from trust, coaching, and autonomy?
The program combines practical leadership skills with personal reflection. Participants explore how they respond in different situations, the patterns that shape their leadership, and the impact these have on others. By gaining a deeper understanding of these patterns, they develop greater flexibility and make more conscious choices in how they lead.
Key topics throughout the program include situational leadership, delegation, building trust, positioning the team, dealing with resistance, and navigating challenging conversations.

Program - Structure

360° Feedback-Tool
Before the program begins, each participant completes an online 360° feedback survey. Feedback from team members provides insight into their leadership style, preferred behaviours, and the impact these have on others. These insights form the starting point for the program.
Day 1
Understanding Your Leadership
Participants explore their own leadership style and preferred behaviours. Through reflection and feedback, they gain insight into the choices they make as leaders, the impact of those choices on individuals and teams, and their personal areas for development.
Day 2
Situational Leadership
Leidinggevenden leren hun leiderschap af te stemmen op de behoeften van medewerkers en de context. Zij oefenen met sturen, coachen, delegeren en ruimte geven, afhankelijk van wat de situatie vraagt.
Day 3
Deeper Learning and Leadership Skills
Participants focus on themes that are particularly relevant to their own work, such as building trust, dealing with resistance, positioning the team, and navigating challenging conversations. Their own real-life leadership situations are central to the learning process.
Day 4
Putting Learning into Practice
The final day focuses on translating the learning into day-to-day practice. Participants work with current leadership challenges, refine their leadership approach, and create a concrete action plan for applying what they have learned.
After the Program
After the program, participants receive an email reminding them of the personal development goals they set during the program. They can contact the trainers at any time with questions or for additional support.
